Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a shortcoming that a quick moving picture can not be clearly displayed by promptly changing a picture because of the slow response time of liquid crystal in the conventional type projector by providing a projector to display a full color image on a screen by one image display part, so that the entire constitution is remarkably simplified and production cost can be reduced.
SOLUTION: In the projector, red, blue and green images are formed in a time-division manner by the image display part 2, and a red light emitting diode 1r is lit at a timing that the image of a red component is displayed by the display part 2, a blue light emitting diode 1b is lit at a timing that the image of a blue component is displayed and a green light emitting diode 1g is lit at a timing that the image of a green component is displayed. By projecting the images of the red component, the blue component and the green component in turn in the time-division manner to the screen 8, the color image is displayed.
