PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate and to enhance the efficiency of high fidelity and operability of reproducibility of a proof sheet system.
SOLUTION: The proof sheet system 14 comprises a platemaking means 22 for platemaking image, character and line drawing data, a proof press 15 for printing by using a press plate 13 by the platemaking means, a printing quality measuring means 17 for measuring printing quality of a surface of the proof sheet by the press according to a predetermined item, a printing quality deciding means 18 for comparing the measured result of the measuring means with a set printing quality reference, a correction data forming means 19 for calculating the output data for correcting the press plate making plate so as to enable the proof sheet included in the reference based on the compared result of the deciding means, and a notice means 20 for informing a conformity of the total measured result of the measuring means to the reference. A process of the data by the platemaking means includes a correction based on the correction data formed by the forming means. The press has a printing pressure imparting mechanism and an ink supplying mechanism similar to those of a main press for printing the running-on, collects the data, and prints the proof sheet by the press plate.
