Abstract:
PURPOSE: To increase the strength of the fan by a method wherein a reinforcing rib is formed integrally on the surface of the blade of propeller fan formed by a synthetic resin material.
CONSTITUTION: The propeller fan 1, consisting of a boss section 2 and the blades 3, is formed by synthetic resin and a plurality of reinforcing ribs 4 are formed integrally at the roots of respective blades 3 on the surfaces thereof. Accordingly, a force, applied on the blade 3 upon rotating the propeller fan 1 may be absorbed. At the same time, the strength and rigidity of the fan 1 against bending may be increased remarkably and, therefore, the fan may be used under sever condition, such as under high rotation or high temperature.
