Abstract:
To restrict rotation of a propeller shaft when a fastening bolt is tightened with a simple structure in the propeller shaft including a constant velocity joint as a universal joint.SOLUTION: A propeller shaft 100 includes a constant velocity joint 3, which has an inner ring member 8 and an outer ring member 7 fastened by a bolt 16, at one end and includes: a sleeve 18 having a hole spline 17 therein and joined to a first propeller shaft 1; a stub shaft 19 in which one end is provided so as to integrally rotate with the inner ring member 8 and the other end is splined to the sleeve 18; and a boot 20 in which one end is supported by the outer ring member 7 and the other end fits in an outer peripheral surface of the sleeve 18. An engagement part 33 which can engage with a rotation restriction tool for restricting rotation of the propeller shaft 100 is formed between a boot fitting part 30 and a pipe joint part 31 on the outer peripheral surface of the sleeve 18.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
