Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a propeller unit for a vessel propulsion device assuring guarantee of protection of a power transmission device, etc.SOLUTION: A propeller unit for a vessel propulsion device has an inner hub 51, an outer hub 52 arranged coaxially to the inner hub 51 as well as communicating to the inner hub 51 and having a plurality of blades on the outer periphery surface, a hollow shaft member 55 with a rib 65 on the outer periphery surface and communicating with the propeller shaft 31; a bushing 54 composed of a dumper 56 formed by an elastic member covering the outer periphery surface of the hollow shaft member 55 and arranged in between an inner periphery surface of the inner hub 51, and the bushing 54 is spline coupled to the propeller shaft 31 through spline teeth 58 formed on an inner periphery surface of a front half unit or a rear half unit of the hollow shaft member 55 in the longitudinal direction and a rupture unit is provided in a portion corresponding to a spline tooth non-formed unit 60.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
