Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust the size of a bleeder assisting the rotation of a propeller.
SOLUTION: A propeller 10 is provided with holes 130 interconnecting the inside of a hub 14 and the external wall part of a propeller hub together. Each hole 130 is installed in a position corresponding to a propeller blade 20. When the propeller 10 is rotated, if exhaust gas or the like is exhausted out of the hole 130, this exhaust gas is mixed in water drained off by the propeller blade 20. If so, pressure to be imposed on this propeller blade is reducible. Therefore, in the case where engine power is insufficient, the hole 130 effectively works. A plug is installed in this hole 130. In this illustration, a cap 150 of the plug alone is shown. The plug has an opening 160. With the plug interchanged, a size of the opening 160 is alterable. Accordingly, a quantity of exhaust gas to be exhausted out of the hole 130 is freely adjustable.
