To provide propelling pipe manufacturing method capable of efficiently and inexpensively manufacturing a propelling pipe for a propelling method having high precision, high durability and high quality, and a propelling pipe manufacturing apparatus.
A collar fixing and receiving stand 52, which installs the joint collar 54 mounted on the outer peripheral surface of the rear end part of a propelling pipe main body along a cylindrical diametrically contractible cylindrical outer form 11, is arranged between the lower part of the cylindrical outer form 11 capable of being split into a plurality of parts and having the center line set thereto in an up and down direction and the lower part of the cylindrical diametrically contractible inner form 12 concentrically arranged inside the outer form 11. Highly flowable concrete is cast between the outer form 11, the inner form 12 and the collar fixing and receiving stand 52 to mold the propelling pipe main body on the collar fixing and receiving stand 52. The outer form 11 is split and the inner form 12 is diametrically contracted to demold the propelling pipe main body, with which the joint collar 54 is integrated, on the collar fixing and receiving stand 52.
