Abstract:
PURPOSE: To accomplish the construction of a lower stage and an engagement treatment with a floor area positioned at the upper part of a staircase simultaneously.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of treads 14 and risers 16 are mounted between strings 12 at a specified spacing, thereby constituting a staircase unit 10. The uppermost stage tread 24 is projected to the side of a floor surface positioned at the upper end of the strings 12 and installed thereto. This tread 24 is loaded on a recessed part of a girth 28 mounted to the end face of a floor surface 20, thereby omitting the treatment of the joint area between the staircase unit 10 and the floor surface 20.
