Abstract:
To provide a prophylactic or ameliorative agent for indefinite complaint caused by iron deficiency anemia comprising rutin and/or a rutin derivative, an iron compound and extracts of Eleutherococcus senticosus.
The prophylactic or ameliorative agent comprises rutin and/or the rutin derivative, the iron compound and extracts of Eleutherococcus senticosus. Preferably, the iron compound is iron citrate, sodium ferrous citrate, ferrous gluconate, iron lactate, ferrous fumarate, ferrous pyrophosphate, ferric pyrophosphate or ferrous sulfate. The agent can be served in a form of a tablet, troche, granule, capsule, drink, candy or the like.
