Abstract:
To provide a propulsion device for start capable of completing start of a drilling machine without a need of a transfer work of equipment for the propulsion even when enough space cannot be secured between the drilling machine and a rear wall in a starting tunnel.SOLUTION: A propulsion device 100 for start comprises: a propulsion mechanism 10 having a movable member 11 movable in a drilling direction, a drive part 12 imparting propulsion force in the drilling direction relative to the movable member 11, and a guide beam 13 extending in the drilling direction between a pit mouth wall 1a and a rear wall 1b to support reaction force of the propulsion force of the drive part 12; a propulsion member 20 arranged at the drilling direction rear side relative to a shield machine 5 arranged in a starting tunnel 1; and a connection mechanism 30 connecting the propulsion member 20 with the movable member 11. The connection mechanism 30 movably connects the propulsion member 20 in the drilling direction backward relative to the movable member 11 and is capable of changing and fixing an interval between the movable member 11 and the propulsion member 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
