Abstract:
To provide a propulsion device for a vessel.SOLUTION: A propulsion device for a vessel includes: a gear box; a screw propeller, an annular fluid guiding unit; and a rectifying nozzle. The gear box includes a box and a transmission shaft. The transmission shaft has one portion inserted into the box. The screw propeller includes a hub and a plurality of propeller blades. The hub includes a hollow cylindrical state outer sleeve and an inner sleeve. The inner sleeve and the outer sleeve are coupled by a plurality of ribs in between. The inner sleeve is coupled to a transmission shaft of the gear box. The plurality of propeller blades are arranged on an outer periphery surface of the outer sleeve and are integrally formed. The annular fluid guide unit is arranged in the box of the gear box and covers the screw propeller. The rectifying nozzle is coupled to a rear end unit of the annular fluid guiding unit and generates a rectifying effect. Due to the structure characteristics described above, the propulsion device for a vessel of this invention increases a water absorption diameter to the maximum and is capable of improving propulsion efficiency.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
