Abstract:

To provide a propylene-based polymer which is excellent in mechanical properties (including the balance thereamong) and is improved in the melt tension (MT) and the melt flowability and also is excellent in the processing moldability, and the external appearance and to provide a method for manufacturing it.

The propylene-based polymer provided comprises the following crystalline component (A) and a non-crystalline component (B), and has (i) a weight-average molecular weight (Mw), measured by GPC, of 100,000-1,000,000, (ii) a hot p-xylene-insoluble component of 0.3% or less, and (iii) a degree (max) of strain hardening, measured by elongational viscosity, of 2.0 or more. Crystalline component (A): a component (CXIS) having the requirements set forth in (A1) through (A5) and coming to be insoluble in p-xylene at 25C; non-crystalline component (B): a component (CXS) having the requirements set forth in (B1) through (B4) and coming to be soluble in p-xylene at 25C.
