Abstract:
PURPOSE: Prostaglandin analogues and their salts of formula I are new: [where A is group of formula II, III or IV; R is H or 1W12C alyl; n is 0, 1, 2 or 3; R1, R2, R3, R4 and R5 are H, methyl or ethyl; (1) X is ethylene or cis-vinylene and Y is trans-vinylene, or both of them are ethylene when more than one of R1, R2 and R3 are methyl or ethyl. (2) X is ethylene or cis-vinylene, Y is ethylene or trans-vinylene and n is 1, 2 or 3 when R1, R2 and R3 are H].
