PURPOSE: To chemically stably incorporate a bleach compd., etc. into a liquid detergent by dispersing a compd. of an optical bleach etc., into a hydrophobic protective material, such as silicone oil, or coating the compd. with this protective material.

CONSTITUTION: One or more kind of the compd. selected from the optical bleach, bleach, photoactive bleach, bluing agent, perfume and dye is dispersed into the hydrophobic protective material, such as silicone oil or petroleum, or is coated with this protective material in such a manner that the compd. is insoluble in the concentrate-like detergent or is dispersible in the form of particles or liquid drops therein and is sufficiently flowable or easily crushable to the extent of being destroyed by vigorous stirring within the dilute detergent at 60°C.
