Abstract:
PURPOSE:To accelerate a response of detecting a shortcircuiting current at the defect time by removing a snubber condenser current which is contained in the shortcircuiting current. CONSTITUTION:The output signal of a current detector 8 which detects the current of a main circuit filter condenser and the output of a current detector 15 which is added to all snubber circuits of an inverter bridge are applied to an adder 24 through a noise removing filter 21. The output of this adder 24 and the detecting level of a shortcircuit detecting level setter 22 are compared by a comparator 23. The output of the comparator 23 is inputted to a protecting operation sequence circuit 24, and a gate block of a GTO performs the protecting operation of the all firing of the gates and all extinguishing of the gates. The adder 24 produces an output, from which snubber condenser charging current component is removed.
