Abstract:
To provide a protection cover for an axle spring which can cover an axle spring for a railway vehicle in a compact manner and makes deformation, damage, and falling etc. less likely to be caused by wind pressure.SOLUTION: A protection cover 1 is attached to an axle spring 20 for a railway vehicle and covers a lower outer surface of an elastic part 23 in an attachment state. The protection cover 1 is formed into a unitary cylinder shape by a thin film material having elasticity and includes a bellows part 4 which may expand or contract in an axial direction. In the attachment state, the protection cover 1 indirectly contacts with an inner cylinder 21 through a rubber layer 27A, directly contacts with an outer cylinder 22, and directly contacts with the elastic part 23 at a position spaced apart from contact positions with the inner cylinder 21 and the outer cylinder 22 in a radial direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
