Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protection device for disaster preventing equipment capable of surely operating without being influenced by radiation by doubly shielding the disaster preventing equipment installed in a high radiation district by shielding members.
SOLUTION: The protection device for the disaster preventing equipment 5 installed in a high radiation district is provided with a 1st shielding member 10 arranged in the vicinity of the disaster preventing equipment 5 and capable of shielding the equipment 5 from γ rays and a 2nd shielding member 20 arranged in the vicinity of the 1st shielding member 10 and capable of shielding the equipment from neutron radiation. Since the disaster preventing equipment 5 is a smoke sensor, the 1st and 2nd shielding members 10, 20 are provided with smoke inflow opening parts 15, 23 and these opening parts 15, 23 are formed as shapes capable of blocking straight radiation.
