Abstract:
To provide an occupant crash protection device capable of constraining an occupant with a seat and a seat belt quickly.
The occupant crash protection device S1 has a retractor 10 for the seat belt with a force limiter having a pretensioner operating so as to tow the seat belt 11 during collision of a vehicle, and protects the occupant sitting on the seat 6. A swelling device 21 for swelling at least front surface 8d side of a backrest section 8 to the front side of the vehicle in cooperation with an operation of the pretensioner is mounted to the backrest section 8 of the seat 6.
