PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the absorption of collision energy even in the case where a vehicle collides with the end of a road protection fence.
SOLUTION: A strip steel plate-made guard member 2 is arranged on the end of a road protection fence 1 in the form of a sleeve beam, an interval holding bracket 3 is fixed on the inside of the guard member 2 at a prescribed interval, and a plurality of dead spaces are formed. A group of a steel plate- made pipes 4 for absorbing collision energy are arranged on the dead space vertically. Two supports 5 are fixed on the interval holding bracket 3 in the width direction, and the lower end of the support 5 except for the bracket of the final tail is separably connected by impact force at the time of vehicle collision on the upper end of a support foundation 6 buried and fixed in earth. The group of the thin steel plate-made pipes 4 are connected to each other, bolt connection is performed between the guard member 2 and the interval holding bracket 3, and in addition, the burying part of the fixing support 7 of the final tail interval holding bracket is preferably connected to a foundation support 8 and a tightening member 9 buried in the frontward side.
