Title:
PROTECTION FILM FOR GLASS PROCESSING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2014125393
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protection film for glass processing, which is hardly detached during processing and easily detached after completion of processing.SOLUTION: A water-dispersed cerium oxide slurry as abrasive material is poured onto a revolving glass lens held by a holding member made of polymethylene, so that one side of the lens is polished with a grindstone. After completion of polishing the one side, the lens is washed and dried. To a non-polished side of the lens, a protection film for glass processing which contains styrene-acrylic copolymer resin emulsion is applied with a spray, so as to have a dried film thickness of 50 μm. The lens is then dried in a thermostat at 50°C for 10 minutes, and cooled to room temperature. Subsequently the surface applied with the protection film for glass processing is fitted to the inner face of the holding member so as to be held. The water-dispersed cerium oxide slurry as abrasive material is poured onto the revolving glass lens thereby held, so that the other side of the lens is polished with a grindstone. The lens applied with the protection film for glass processing is then immersed in hot water at 80°C for 5 minutes.
