To prevent a branch part of a branch line which is branched from a trank line of a wire harness from contacting with an end edge of a slit provided in an axis line direction at a corrugate tube sheathing the trank line and being damaged.
A protection ring protects a branch line, which is branched from a trank line of a wire harness sheathed by a corrugate tube with a slit, at a portion that the branch line is pulled out from the slit. The protection ring is formed by an oval shaped ring member provided with a hollow part for branch line insertion. In the ring member, flange parts are provided along both side edges of peripheral walls which continue in a circumferential direction so as to protrude thereby providing cross section recessed parts. The branch line is inserted into the hollow part with a long diameter direction of the hollow part of the ring member matched with an axis line direction of the trank line of the wire harness, and both end edges of the slit of the corrugate tube fit with the recessed parts.
