PURPOSE: To provide a protective bellows which can be easily mounted for protecting a drive shaft of an automotive front wheel drive transmission.

CONSTITUTION: An outer end part of a fixing collar 16 bas four tabs 30 positioned at an interval of 90° around the collar 16. Each tab 30 has an outwardly directed chamfered surface 34, and the surface 34 is extended from a smaller diameter (A) than an inner diameter of a clamp which is not fixed to a larger diameter (B) than the inner diameter of the clasp which is not fixed. By this chamfered surface 34, mounting of the clamp to an outer mounting surface of the collar 16 is facilitated. In addition, each tab 30 has an inwardly directed chamfered surface 38, and the inwardly directed chamfered surface 38 facilitates mounting the collar 16 having the clamp to a specified position of a mounting part of a easing after it gets in contact with an edge extended in a circumferential direction of the casing or the mounting part to which the collar 16 is to be attached.
