Abstract:
To provide a protective cap for easily and inexpensively adding information to a key, and guaranteeing reliability of the added information.
This protective cap 1 is fixed to the key 2, and has a protective body 11 for protecting identification number ID used for identifying the key 2 and a window part 12 arranged in the protective body 11 and confirming the identification number ID from an external part. The protective body 11 is irreversibly installed from one direction on the key 2.
