Abstract:

To protect a CMOS integrated circuit for processing the output of a capacitance type pressure sensor against an external noise.

A CP sensor IC2 made of a CMOSIC is connected to capacitance type pressure sensor element 1. A first Zener diode Di1 directing its anode toward the power source ground terminal Vss side and a first capacitor C1 and respectively connected between a power input terminal Vin and the ground terminal Vss. A second Zener diode Di2 and a second capacitor C2 are respectively connected between an output terminal Vout and the terminal Vss. The capacitors C1, C2 drop the peak voltage of a noise during the time until the first and the second diodes Di1, Di2 are broken down.
