PURPOSE: To provide a protective cover compact with excellent carrying property of a connector at a tube connection of a medical device.
CONSTITUTION: In a protective cover having a void which is enough to house a cylindrical cover material covering a connector of a tube connection of a medical device and a connection of the connector which has a flange on the outer surface thereof and an absorbing material layer containing a germicide in the inner surface thereof, the protective cover is made up of two resin lids, upper and lower, 3 and 4 made free to open or close and a slit 6 hole is arranged on a side wall of the upper and/or lower lid to house or fix the flange of the cylindrical cover material by being fitted thereinto. Semi-circular cuts 5 are arranged on both side walls of the upper and lower lids to allow the formation of a hole with the diameter thereof almost the same as that of a medical tube to be inserted.
