PURPOSE: To prevent an automobile or a forklift, etc., from colliding against a door which is closed or to close by providing a collision protective screen between a shaft through which a car moves and a landing and in a position in front of the landing door at a predetermined distance, the screen moving to a retreat position after the door is completely opened.

CONSTITUTION: A forklift makes contact with a screen 9 when coming too close to a landing door 4 with the screen 9 in a protective position. Thus the operator of the forklift 'feels' the contact between the forklift and the screen and then stops movement of the forklift. Therefore, even if the forklift comes too close to the landing door 4 and collides with the screen 9, damage to the landing door 4 can be prevented. Moreover, even if the operator advances the forklift without noticing that the forklift has touched the screen 9, then the screen 9 is broken and the operator of the forklift notices the contact from it, and therefore stops the forklift from advancing toward the landing door 4 to prevent the forklift from colliding with the landing door 4.
