Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective device of a polar capacitor, which can suppress properly a surge generated in a load operation state and protect surely the polar capacitor, when a DC power supply is connected with reverse polarity.
SOLUTION: A mechanical relay 13 is connected in series to a polar capacitor 14, which is connected to a DC power supply 11 in parallel with a load 12 and suppresses a surge generated in the operation state of the load 12. When the DC power supply 11 is connected with reverse polarity, the connection (direct connection) between the DC power supply 11 and the polar capacitor 14 is cut off by the mechanical relay 13.
