Abstract:
To restrict abrasion wear of a pulverization roller and an inner surface of a protective member.SOLUTION: Provided is a roller journal protector to be attached to a pulverizer. The pulverizer includes: a pulverization table; a pulverization roller unit 20; and an air outlet provided on an outer peripheral side of the pulverization table in order to blow out transporting gas upward. The pulverization roller unit 20 includes: a journal head 23; a journal shaft 22 supported by the journal head 23 and extending along a shaft line Y1; a pulverization roller 21 attached to the journal shaft 22 so as to be rotatable about the shaft line Y1; a shield 27b which encloses a lower section of the journal shaft 22 at a position where the journal head 23 and the pulverization roller 21 are adjacent to each other, to protect the pulverization roller unit 20 from solid fuel carried by the transporting gas; and a closing part 28 for closing a region above the shield 27b so that the solid fuel does not intrude into a narrow space formed between the pulverization roller 21 and the shield 27b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
