Abstract:
A first machine part (10) performs working movements against a second machine part (11). A photoelectric barrier (PB) (20) can be positioned between these two parts and on one (10) of them in such a way that its light beam (23) has a safety gap from this machine part (10). This gap can be adjusted by safety devices (15-18) supporting the PB. If the light beam is broken, a blocking device stops machine working movement.
