In the thermal fuse, a coil spring 106 is inserted into a spring fitting hole 105 arranged on an insulated pedestal 107, a pair of lead terminals 101, 102 are arranged at either side of the spring fitting hole 105, a fuse operation section is formed by joining the lead terminals 101, 102 and a movable conductor 103 with a fusible body 104 while pushing the coil spring 106 by bridging the movable conductor 103 at an upper part of the coil spring 106, and an insulating cover 108, the lead terminals 101, 102, and the insulated pedestal 107 are rivetted with rivets 110.
