Abstract:

To provide a protective fence enabling an introduction cost to be reduced by using a connection case in common to reduce the manufacturing cost thereof even if the sizes of wires are different.

This protective fence includes vertical frames 6, connection fittings 10 fixed to the vertical frames 6, and first and second wire connector 11, 12 which are screwed into the connection metal fittings 10 to stretch the wires 13 in a tense state. Each of both wire connectors 11, 12 includes a tension spring 24, an end metal 25 caulked to the end of the wire 13, a spring receiver 26 for receiving the inner end of the tension spring 24, and the connection case 28 for storing these members 24, 25, 26. The spring receiver 26 of the second wire connector 12 includes a divided body 26a divided into two pieces so as to be postassembled onto the wire 13. The connection case 28 can be used in common by changing the spring receiver 26 to cope with the change of the size of the wire 13.
