Abstract:
To provide a protective gate for use in a roof safety frame, having a function of a fence disposed on the upper part of the roof of a grain dryer or a grain storage tank to prevent a worker from falling, a function of a gate for a worker to enter or exit the enclosure formed by the fence, and a function of linking the safety frames with each other to keep the strength thereof.SOLUTION: The protective gate comprises three or more horizontal stay members 12 extending in the width direction X of the entrance 84 of a safety frame 80, and two or more vertical stay members 14 extending in the perpendicular direction Y of the entrance 84 to support the horizontal stay members 12, with both ends of the two or more horizontal stay members 12 each comprising a first and a second engagement recesses 16 to be engaged with an open frame body 86 provided as vertical frames 85a, 85b of the entrance 84 of the safety frame 80, and either of the engagement recesses 16 disengageably engaged with the open frame body 86, to constitute an opening/closing shaft 32 supporting the protective gate 10 in a manner turnable on the open frame body 86 as a fulcrum.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
