Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a protective material for molten metal surface level sensor having sticking preventive effect of the molten steel and a high mechanical strength.
CONSTITUTION: This protecting material is composed of composite sintered body of silicon nitride and boron nitride and having 10-80wt.% the boron nitride content and a relative density of ≥45%.
