Abstract:
The problem to be addressed by the present invention is to impede the adhesion of a foreign matter onto a connector contact. This protective member (1) has a main part (10). The main part (10) is a resin molded body, which is to be attached to a surface-mounted board-to-board connector (2). The main part (10) has a pair of attachment surfaces (13, 14), and an opening (15). In a state in which the connector (2) and another connector have been connected to each other, the pair of attachment surfaces (13, 14) are in contact respectively with two base boards whereon the connector (2) and the other connector have been mounted respectively. The main part (10) is constituted in such a manner as to enclose the connector (2) and the other connector within the opening (15), when the main part (10) is in a state of being sandwiched by the two base boards.
