Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a protective net for preventing any floating matter like seaweeds or vinyl wastes from flowing into the housing of a water jet propulsion device.
CONSTITUTION: A supporting rod 11 passing approximatery the center of a water inflow port 6 of a water jet propulsion device is fixed to the bottom wall 1A, and a comb-shaped members 12 formed by a large number of needle- shaped shafts 15 are symmetrically arranged to the supporting rod 11. The comb-shaped members 12 have the length by which their edges reach the bottom wall 1A for forming the inflow port 6, and slantly arranged relative to the supporting rod 11 so as to be extended toward its stern.
