Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a protective sheet which prevents a color-printed surface from discoloration and scratches for a long term.
SOLUTION: This sheet, which is stuck to a printed surface to protect it, comprises a substrate 2, a nonsticking resin layer 3, an adhesive layer 4, and a release material 5 laminated successively in this order. The substrate 2 is a film formed from at least one resin selected from among polyethylene terephthalate, cellulose triacetate, polyethylene, polypropylene, and composite resins each comprising mainly one of these resins; the nonsticking resin layer 3 is formed from a clear resin comprising mainly a (meth)acrylate (co)polymer having a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 50°C or higher and a wt. average mol.wt. of 300,000 or higher; and the adhesive layer is formed from a self-adhesive mainly comprising an acrylic self-adhesive having a glass transition temperature (Tg) of -10°C or lower.
