Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective stone wall structure that covers and protects a surface side of an existing wall easily damaged such as deterioration of a tuff stone (Oya-ishi) by using a stone material having high hardness and rigidity at low cost and with simple construction, and provide a construction method of the protective stone wall structure.SOLUTION: This protective stone wall structure is constructed as follows: rectangular slates 2 along a surface of an existing stone wall 1 and having a gap t between the surface and itself, and divided into multiple pieces are spread all over; one end 11 bent in the L-shape of a fastener 10 is embedded in an upper side surface of each slate, and the other end 13 of the fastener is embedded obliquely downward in the existing stone wall; an oblique hole 9 is drilled obliquely downward in the surface of the existing stone wall; the one end 11 bent in the L-shape of the fastener is embedded in the upper side surface of the rectangular slate, and the other end 13 of the fastener is bent obliquely downward and inserted into the oblique hole 9 of the existing stone wall; and in this configuration, the rectangular slates are piled up sequentially along the existing stone wall from a lower stage to an upper stage, and having the gap t between the surface of the existing stone wall and itself.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
