Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a protector for branching type communication for effectively removing flow-in noise at the time of using cable telephones in house-to-house co- viewing, safely using both telephones and televisions and being effective also as the measure of the flow-in noise of a low frequency area normally generated from the television of an adjacent house in building shadow television co-viewing or CATV communication (multiple home co-viewing).
CONSTITUTION: An input terminal IN connected to a station side is connected to one end of the primary coil T1 of a branching transformer T and an output terminal OUT for connecting a uni-directional communication equipment such as a cable television or the like is connected to the other end respectively. A branching terminal BR for connecting a bi-directional communication equipment (or an adjacent home protector) such as the cable telephone or the like is connected to one end of the secondary coil T2 of the branching transformer T and a grounding resistor R is connected to the other end respectively. Then, a filter F for removing the noise from the communication equipment of the adjacent house and the noise from its own bi-directional communication equipment is connected to a line between the output terminal OUT for connecting the uni-directional communication equipment and one end of the primary coil T1.
