Abstract:

To easily install a protector capable of covering a part of the opening end of a disk brake piston for reducing brake noise at the specified position of the disk brake piston.

This protector 300 capable of closing the hollow 201 of the disk brake piston 200 covers 45 to 70% of the opening part of the hollow. The protector is fixed to the piston and comes into contact with a brake pad. The protector comprises a semi-disk type plate 301, and the radius of a semi-disk is larger than the radius of the hollow. A holding means holds the protector on the piston. An indexing means 303 is fitted to the protector.
