Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protector for a filter in which the number of parts is reduced.
SOLUTION: A protector 1 is a resin-molded part molded by using a forming mold and has oil resistance and heat resistance. The protector 1 is arranged on the inner periphery of a filter medium to hold the filter medium, and is provided as one body with positioning parts 1D for positioning the protector 1 itself in a prescribed position in a case. The positioning part 1D extends upward from the outer peripheral part of the upper end of a projecting part of the protector 1 and is formed curved to outside in the radial direction and is provided elastically deformably for the projecting part. The positioning part 1D can position the protector 1 by making the curved outer peripheral surface about on the inner wall surface of the case.
