Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protector for a rust-proofing spray coated high strength bolt or high strength nut capable of preventing damage of a rust-proofing spray coated film when the rust-proofing spray coated high strength bolt or high strength nut is fastened, and its fastening method.SOLUTION: A protection collar 1 that is formed into such a shape as one extending along the side part of a high strength nut 5 by a hard plate material through a shock absorbing material 2 formed by a soft material and making a part of an outer periphery extending along the side part of the high strength nut 5 into a shut-off state by a clearance 1a is outwardly fitted to the side part of the high strength nut 5 formed with a rust-proofing spray coated film and rotated by a tool through the protection collar 1 and fastened.
