Abstract:
PURPOSE:To clearly grasp the cause of abnormality and properly dispose of it, by providing a load-side shaft with a rotational frequency detector, installing a pressure detector in an oil feed/drain passage for a friction clutch, detecting the abnormality through a controller and operating alarms. CONSTITUTION:A rotational frequency detector 24 is provided in face of a rotational frequency measuring gear 23 on an end of a driven shaft 7 of a variable-speed machine. The output of the detector 24 is applied to a controller 27 to obtain data in terms of the velocity ratio. Both the velocity ratios of gears 2, 3 stored in the memory of the controller 27 are compared with each other to monitor whether the rotational frequency of the driven shaft 7 is within a prescribed range. It is thus monitored whether the friction plate of a clutch C3 or C4 slips. The load current of a driving power source and the pressure of working oil detected by pressure detectors 25, 26 are compared with respective setpoints or the like by the controller 27 in the same manner to monitor whether the pressure and the load current become abnormal. Wnen abnormality is detected by the controller 27, the corresponding one of alarms 28 is operated.
