This wiper protector is provided on a wiper 1 equipped with a wiper blade 7 sliding along the outer surface of a windshield 3 of a vehicle and a wiper arm 6 with one end connected to a rotating shaft, and the other end connected to the wiper blade. The wiper protector is formed by a support table 30 provided opposite to the stop position of the wiper arm on the outer surface of the windshield, and a wiper blade support member 10 for separating the blade rubber (sliding contact edge) of the wiper blade from the outer surface of the windshield in cooperation with the table 30. The wiper blade support member is provided with a rotor 18 engaged with the support table. The support table is provided with a cam face 31 for separating the blade rubber from the outer surface of the windshield by engagement of the rotor.
