The protector includes: a protector body 2 covering a part ranging from the shoulder to the breast of the worker; catching means catching the stream water adhering to the protector body 2 through a protection board 4 by a holding part 9 to which an absorptive member 8 provided at the edge of the protection board 4 is detachably attached; and attachment means 3 with which the protector body 2 is attached to the shoulder and the breast of the worker.
