Abstract:
To provide a protector capable of striking a balance between improvement of design and continuous impact absorbability.SOLUTION: A protector includes an impact absorption material 10 comprising a resin hollow plate material. The hollow plate material includes a hollow plate-like core layer in which multiple cells are juxtaposed, which are partitioned by a side wall part extending in a thickness direction, and a skin layer bonded to a principal surface of the core layer. On the front side surface of the impact absorption material 10, which is a surface on the side on which an object collides, a recess pattern formed by a recess 14 recessed in the thickness direction is provided partially, and in a side wall part positioned on the recess 14, a cross-sectional shape along the thickness direction of the impact absorption material 10 has a curved shape.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
