Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the generation of a vibrating sound when a vehicle is travelling by preventing deformation and damage caused by the load of an electric wire bundle when it is installed in the vertical surface of a vehicle panel in a protector receiving a wire harness.
SOLUTION: In a protector in which a wire-like body is housed in a groove- like protector main body 1 and its opening part is closed by a lid body 2, a partition 4 is projected from the internal bottom surface of the protector main body 1, and a protrusion 4a at the top of the partition 4 is engaged with a hole 5 provided the lid body 2. The cross-sectional shape of the partition 4 in the direction of the groove extension is formed so that a base part on the protector main body 1 side is wider than the protrusion 4a and it has a part inclined towards the base part from the protrusion 4a.
