Abstract:
To obtain a protein complex, more in detail, a protein containing complex including a protein such as hemoglobin, etc., in the pore inside of a silica-based mesoporous body having a surface modified with an alcohol and to provide a use thereof.
The protein-including complex has a protein in the pore inside of a silica-based mesoporous body having an alcohol modified surface. The protein forms a polymer in the pore inside and the polymer is adsorbed as a protein accumulated in high density on the pore inside wall of the silica-based mesoporous body. The functional member comprises the complex as a functional component and stably has a protein activity.
