Title:
PROTEIN INTERACTING WITH IGF-1 RECEPTOR, GENE COODING THEREFOR AND THEIR USE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3294575
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a nucleic acid useful for the therapy, diagnosis, etc., of cancers by coding for a protein capable of binding to a specific IGF-1 receptor.
SOLUTION: This invention provides (A) a nucleic acid sequence expressed by formula I or its complementary nucleic acid sequence, (B) a nucleic acid sequence capable of coding for a peptide expressing homology to a polypeptide expressed by formula II and hybridizing one of nucleic sequences of (A) under a stringent condition, or (C) a nucleic acid selected from a group containing sequences coding for IIP-10 polypeptide having amino acid sequences coded by the sequence of (A) or (B) and capable of binding to an IGF-1 receptor by degeneration of a gene code. It is preferable to prepare a recombinant polypeptide bonded to IGF-1 receptor coded by the nucleic acid (IIP-10) and detect proliferation ability of cancer cells by using the above mentioned nucleic acid.
