Abstract:
To provide a proteinase inhibitor of a low molecular weight that is useful in treatment for human diseases.
The objective proteinase inhibitor has the amino acid sequence corresponding to the amino acid 21 to the amino acid 147 in the human bikunin in which at least one amino acid residue in the sequence is substituted with other naturally occurring amino acids.
