Abstract:

PURPOSE: To produce a protein substance having promoting action on dilation of cancer cell.

CONSTITUTION: A protein substance of this invention occurs in a supernatant liquid of cultured A 549 cell derived from human lung glandular cancer using I type collagen substrate, having the following properties. (1) ≥10,000 Molecular weight by separation using an ultrafilter. (2). Deactivated by heat-treatment (at 80°C for 60 minutes) and protease treatment. (3) Not bonding to a heparin- immobilized carrier (4). Promoting dilation of human lung glandular cancer A549 cell. In a method of this invention, the protein substance having the above- mentioned properties (1) to (4) is collected from a supernatant liquid of cultured A549 cell derived from human lung glandular cancer.
